College Degree – Still a Smart Choice

There has been plenty of speculation in recent years regarding economy, jobs, education, money, and more. Certainly there have been tougher times recently. But when it comes to education and its ties to wealth, the correlation and the promise is still very much alive. College is still a great choice, and the infographic here depicts why.

First, take the fact that at current graduation rates, the United States will actually be short 6-million college degree holders in covering its needs for growth, which is estimated at a need for 18 million new college degree holders. Then consider the proven fact that the higher your level of education, the higher your lifetime earnings will be. The averages high school graduate earns just over $30,000 while the average worker with a bachelor’s degree earns over $20,000 more than that.  With a doctorate degree you can expect your earnings to almost quadruple.

The statistics are clear: Don’t be left behind. Get a degree.
